Wow! A minute to breathe! Maizy is in the bath with Catie watching her and Nathanael is sleeping with a full belly! I can't believe that I can even type these words - two babies - my God is good! It's probably time that I tell the story of our son's birth. As most or all of you know I spent 14 weeks of my pregnancy in the hospital on bed rest. On May 25, 2008 I was able to go home, at 36 weeks of gestation and wait out the rest of the pregnancy. I went into the doctors at 37 weeks and we made the decision to have a c-section based on the gestational diabetes, and my previous birth with Maizy. My doctor agreed to perform the c-section on June 11, so my mommy could be here with me and see her grandson before she went off to minister in Israel. So...on June 11 at 5:30 a.m. Rod and I headed to the hospital for the birth of our child. They prepped me for surgery and at 7:30 I went into the O.R. to meet our bubba bear (Nathanael). Waiting out in the halls of the O.R. were our wonderful friends and family. Grammy and Papa came with Maizy and Catie, my best friend Meghan, my sisters and their husbands, my Uncle Dave, my friend Leah and her kids, all the nurses who knew me from my previous stay awaited the news. I am telling you - it was a blur to me...by 7:59 a.m. Nathanael Thomas Ginn was born, PERFECT! Every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month of lying in bed was worth it! He is pure joy to my heart - my miracle boy and I would do it again and again for him or any other child God gives me! God answered thousands of prayers. The stories of people who God woke up in the middle of the night, or the people who God prompted every day at a certain time to pray for us is in the hundreds - it blows my human mind. Life is beautiful, even in my weakest moments when I wonder to myself how will my body ever recover! I am reminded daily that God has everything in His hands and nothing, I mean nothing is in my control. We look forward to what the future holds and what God does through and with our family. Thank you to all of you who prayed and thought of us - our family is made of one miracle after another and we are blessed! I can't wait for you to meet him!

He is such a blessing and a sweet, sweet boy!
He looks like his daddy, with the exception of the lips - those are mommy's!
Doesn't he take your breath away!
Sweet big sissy - she is a lover!

Hello Friends and family!
We are nearing the end of this recent journey. On June 11 @ 9:30 a.m. we will finally be able to hold our beautiful boy, Nathanael! This pregnancy has been a road of discovery, humility, trust and stillness before our God. I will admit that this has been the hardest journey we have taken as a family, but one that is WELL worth the long walk. God has proven himself faithful time and time again and for that we are in awe of his love for us!
Let me give you a little tid bit on our peanut, Maizy! She is growing up so fast that many times i beg time to stop! She speaks like she is 10 and has a fire in her that makes her mama proud, daddy's getting there! Maizy can spell her name, say her ABC's count to 16 - and form sentences that at this point in my pregnancy I can't even put together! She knows that there is a baby on the way - but keeps asking, "where is he?" I am very careful of how often I ask her to "perform" so many people miss out on all the great things she does! She is pure joy - to her very core and nothing is better than her sweet face!
We are looking forward to the arrival of our new brother - please pray for safe delivery and for Maizy as she transitions into the role of big sis!
