We are back from our second weekend away from home. We went to Phoenix, this weekend, for our friend Rena's wedding. We all had such a great time, and of course, Maizy was amazing. This was her second trip in a week, and 4 times on a plane. She travels like a champion, never cries on the plane.
Maizy is now 14 weeks and growing like a weed. She is getting to be very tall and is now in the middle of a growth spurt. She is very entertaining to all she comes in contact with. Mommy's cuddle days are officially over. She is not interested in being held she wants to play, kick her feet and see everything around her. Maizy is now able to see her bottle and will reach for it and pull it to her mouth. She is eating really well, and is about ready for solid food - my how time flies.
Tonight is Maizy's first Halloween and we look forward to sharing pictures with you tomorrow. We are taking her to our churches annual party and Grampa George is going to show her off, while Mommy and Daddy work concessions. I will post her costume pictures tomorrow. We love all of you and would love to hear from you!

Hello everyone! It has been a few days since we have posted pictures. We just returned from a 5 day trip to San Antonio. We had an amazing time! Maizy flew for the first time and did absolutely perfect. On the way to San Antonio she played and on the way home she slept,
she is an incredible baby! We were able to do some pretty amazing things in San Antonio and Maizy is now a T.V. star, because the drama she was in was televised on live T.V. We went to the Riverwalk, toured the Alamo, did some shopping, ate great Mexican food, and hung out with all our extended family from San Antonio. We have some other great pictures that we will be posting in the next few days of Maizy with some pretty important people! Maizy had a good time on her first trip and now this following weekend we are off to Phoenix for our friend Rena's wedding. We love you all!

San Antonio Texas Here We Come!!!!!

This weekend we are taking Maizy on her first plane ride! We are attending Cornerstone's (Pastor john Hagee's) Feast of tabernacles. We will be leaving Thursday and returning on Monday. I look forward to sharing the pictures of Maizy's first trip with you when we return home. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel!

This is our sweet pumpkin in front of our house on this cold fall day. Mommy was very excited to have Maizy wear her new fall sweater. Now on a scale of one to ten on the adorable scale, I (her mommy) thinks she ranks an 11!!!!!!!!!

It was Maizy's first snow fall on Tuesday, October 17th, and of course the first time to wear our winter snow coat. I don't think I have ever seen something so extremely precious in my life. She looks like a little snow bunny!

This has been quite a weekend. Fall is in the air and our baby girl is 3 months old, can you believe it? Maizy is absolutely the best. She does the sweetest things. My favorite thing (well one of many, this is her Mommy) is her giggle, it will melt your heart. She is a character, this is for sure. She is into trying to stay awake so she doesn't miss out on the action. She is definitely active and anxious to grow. She loves to talk and you can tell she tries to get things out and when the words don't come she gets frustrated. You can tell she is her Mommy's girl. Maizy loves to her daddy's voice, it calms her down and makes her feel as though everything is okay. She recognizes faces outside of mommy and daddy. She now knows when grampy and grammy are around. A couple of Sundays ago, her first Sunday morning, grampy took her on stage and introduced her to her church family, it was precious. After her big introduction, Maizy came to sit with mommy and daddy in the service. Grandpa began to preach and when he spoke Maizy was desperately looking for him. She could hear his voice, knew it was him, but could not find him. At that moment mommy new her baby girl was starting to grow up. Maizy loves the ladies who take care of her in the nursery, but since she is not a crier, when the other babies cry Maizy looks around like "what's going on?" Maizy is now sleeping through the night, and it is a blessing and quite an accomplishment for all of us. She has now found her fist and looks at it often. Grandpa Ron and Grandma Judy are getting us a web cam so that Maizy can see them more often and they can see her. We look forward to those moments.
I can say enough how blessed we are. Maizy is a gift from heaven. She is the child we prayed for and we are so proud of her. She becomes more and more beautiful every day. The bitter sweet of it all is we want her to grow up so we can see all that she will become, but we want her to stay tiny so we can hold onto her. We look forward to all of you meeting her. She is a pure delight and that is what everyone says when they meet her. She is a special girl who has a special calling on her life, you can already tell.

We hope you enjoy the pictures from the pumpkin patch, mom, dad, grammy and grampy had fun, I think Maizy thinks were crazy. We take her to this place and make her lean up on these big orange things, in the hot weather. Oh well, next year she will be walking through the pumpkins! We love you all!

This is Maizy in her bouncer, which she loves. We first put her in it when she was just a few weeks old, and she hated it. Now she loves to listen to the music, look at the lights and play with the toys. Today she discovered the mirror in the starfish. It was absolutely the delight of Mommy's day to watch her make faces and see her discover herself in the mirror. Maizy is 12 weeks this coming Saturday and she is definitely growing quickly. Mommy and Daddy can hardly believe how much she has grown and what she is beginning to do. She is an amazing child, we are blessed!
