Memorial Day weekend - was a much needed time for us as a family. Rod is getting ready to go to Israel, mommy is getting the Rez ready and Maizy is along for the ride (FYI - she is amazing!) We had a great weekend hanging out with family and getting some rest. Mommy's cousin Jason and His wife Molly came to visit us from California with their new little guy, Jake! Jake and Maizy had never been together, so it was fun to have some time with them. On Memorial Day the majority of Mommy's family was together to BBQ! It's nice to have family so close during the holidays! Now onto what I know all of you want to know about...Miss Maizy. Well she now has 4 teeth and is working on two more! Our little pumpkin is a speed crawler and is into discovering the world around her, which means she is into everything. Mommy loves it, she thinks it is great to see the world through little eyes! Maizy now pulls herself up onto anything that is accessible. We think that walking may be in the near future! She is doing great with eating table food and like mommy she loves carbs!!!! The next big thing coming up is Maizy's 1st birthday! We can not believe how fast this year has gone - its surreal! That is the latest on our sweet baby! We love you all!

Hello everyone! MAIZY IS AMAZING, I know I continue to say this, but it rings true! She is hysterical, has attitude, loves people, knows were her nose is, cruises, pulls herself up, has 3 teeth with 3 more breaking through as we speak, and is sweet as candy! Things are well in our world and we are looking forward to an amazing summer with our daughter. Maizy starts her second set of swim lessons next week and we are so excited to see what she will do next. We love you all! Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

WOW, it has been a whirl wind the last few weeks. As most of you know we lost Grandma Haskett a couple of weeks agao. As a result Daddy, Mommy and Maizy went to the funeral in Kansas. We were able to spend a few days with all of Daddy's family. Despite the saddness of loosing Grandma we enjoyed our time with everyone who was there! Mommy and Maizy were never able to meet Grandma Haskett but we learned that she was an amazing woman! We also had never been to Daddy's hometown of Parsons, KS, it was so much fun to see where our Daddy grew up. We had a very precious time with Great Grandpa Ginn, we were thrilled that Maizy was able to spend time with him. Maizy was the hit of the party and brought joy where joy was much needed. It was amazing the amount of people we met when we were there, Maizy was held by a whole lot of people who love her. Mommy said, when she got home that she felt like she hadn't held Maizy for an entire week, but was glad that Maizy is loved greatly!
While we were in Kansas Maizy started to crawl and now she is on the move. I find myself constantly turning her in different directions. She has turned from an infant to a toddler over night, and I have to say there is fun, but a bit of saddness! Before we know it, Maizy will be 1 year old - can you believe it! I am so thrilled that now most of you have been able to meet Maizy. I don't have to tell you all, but we have an amazing daughter and we our blessed beyond measure! We love all of you and I will continue to keep you updated on our sweet baby's life!
