Quick update on the little pumpkin:
We had Maizy's 6th month appointment on January 24. She is now 17.3 pounds, 27 inches long. She is 90% in height and 75% in weight! Now I know why the 6 month onsies don't fit, she is a tall girl! Maizy' s doctor said she is doing absolutely amazing! She is doing well sleeping and eating and she is growing at insane rates.
We are starting swim classes in February, and we have a feeling she will love it, considering her love of water now! She changes everyday, it is fascinating! Her vocabulary is changing, she has added mamamamamamama to her list of fun sounds! She is so social, but has recently started to always look to see where mommy is going and making sure she is staying around. We can see that she is starting to "play strange" a little, but within minutes she is laughing and smiling with whoever will love on her. I know I say this time and time again, but we are blessed! God has given us a truly extraordinary child!

First of all look at this outfit, she is just the Best! The shirt says, "Eat, Sleep, Shop"! Like Mommy, like Maizy!

Here she is folks for the first time in her high chair, and she really seemed to love it!

I just wanted to reming all of you that Miss Maizy is 6 months old as of Monday, January 22nd! We can hardly believe it!
Grammy Cheryl and Grampy George we miss you a whole lot, we can't wait for you to come home! We love you!!!!!!!!

We have a new development, our little girl is now turning over! Yes, that's right and not from belly to back but from back to belly! And I would love to say that Mommy and Daddy were there to share in this great accomplishment, but we were not, yes we missed it. But if there is one person that I would want to be apart of any of Maizy's first, that would be Grampy and he was there to see it. So now it is a constant thing, but her on her back she flips, turn her over she flips, it is sooooo fun! We love all of you!!!

Hello All! Can you believe it is already January 10th!!! Maizy will be 6 MONTHS OLD in less than 2 weeks!!!!! Where has the time gone? I know I say that often, but I am telling you time flies when you love being a mom!
Well we made it to Oklahoma and back with out any threat of snow. We were able to get to Oklahoma this last weekend to celebrate Christmas with Daddy's family. Maizy was finally able to meet Uncle Joe and Aunt Kim and they had a ball together. I could tell that Maizy really enjoyed her time with them. Aunt Kim was a natural at all the baby stuff and she spent a lot of time playing with our sweet girl. We are hoping to go spend a weekend with Uncle Joe and Aunt Kim in the spring, we can't wait!
Spending the weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Ginn's house was a good time. Maizy was pretty much the focus of all we did and she put on a great show for her family, kicking, laughing, talking and playing! We celebrated Christmas on Friday night and Maizy received such great things from all of her family. We had a fun time opening gifts and enjoying our time together!
Grandma and Grandpa Ginn finally were able to have time with Maizy at their own house, which I know they treasured greatly!
The rest of the weekend was set aside for just hanging out together. Maizy played with everyone and especially enjoyed her time with her Uncle Jason! Uncle Jason was able to take Maizy to his work and show her off to all of his friends, he thought that was awesome!
Christmas is now officially over, and to be honest it's nice to go on in a new year! We are home and back to our regular every day routine and loving it! This year holds a lot for our family and we look forward to all that the Lord is going to do for us! We had such an amazing last year that it is hard to think that this year could be any better, but we know it can! I will continue to keep you up to date on the progress of our precious little one!
