Maizy Ruth went on her first (of many) vacations to Ocean City, NJ! We had the time of our lives hanging out on the beach, walking on the boardwalk, spending time with family and friends and eating wonderful food. This has been a dream of mommy's and grandpy's for a long time. Daddy grew to love this little vacation time and mommy is excited to hear that we will be vacationing there often. Maizy was not too fond of the sand and the water but she loved her beach chair. This last day we were in Ocean City she decided that the sand was actually pretty fun to play with! I wish I could share everyone of the great pics we took, but there are too many (over a thousand to be accurate). But we hope you enjoy the few there are in this section of Maizy's life! Maizy is growing up sooo quickly it is insane. She is taking a few steps here and there everyday, so we expect to have a little walker soon. Her vocabulary is great and we love her little voice. She has identified several people with her own little words and they are funny! We are teaching her sign language for such things like I am hungry, more, please and all done. She has picked up on all of it and uses it all the time. God has been good and we are blessed beyond measure to have Maizy in our lives. I will not be blogging as often as I have in the past but I will post pictures about 2-4 times a month. God has brought our family into a new but big ministry. As many of you know Rod and I are now the house parents of a home that our church runs for young adults who desire to pursue godly character, discipleship, and spiritual guidance. It has already been a mind blowing experience as we have grown to 10 residence with in 6 weeks. I am responsible for running the household and thus far I LOVE it! God is moving and changing things in our lives at a rapid pace therefore my time is limited. I am dedicated to be a wife and a mommy first, but now I have 10 other "kids" to pour into. Maizy is loving the attention and love she is receiving from all the "family". Everyone is so good to her, and it brings me to tears to think of the relationship she will establish in her life in the next 5 years. She has adjusted well to her new home, because of it's size, she has many places to explore! When we finish her new room we will post pics! I ask that you keep us in your prayers as we begin our new adventure and I will continue to keep you up to date on the life of our precious baby!
