The Ginn Family Blog

This is our gift to our friends and family - a journey of our babies Maizy Ruth and Nathanael Thomas, as they grow physically, emotionally and spiritually!

We want to apologize to everyone that we have not been able to add new pics the last week or so. The blogsite seems to be having technical problems and will not let us post pics. We do, however, want all of you to know that Maizy Ruth is doing great! She is beginning to creep (not quite crawl yet) and is regularly sitting up all on her own. She can flip front to back and back to front very easily and is really coming in to her personality. She is good at imitating you and is quite the entertainment. We love you all!

Here is a quick Maizy update. She is sitting up completely now, like a little adult. We have her to three meals a day with solid food. She hates fruit and only likes to eat her veggies and plain rice cereal, obviously not like Mommy and Daddy! Maizy will be 7 months in two weeks, CRAZY! She is so funny, I am not just saying that, she is seriously hysterical! She is starting with the Mommy stage, which, to me (Mommy), it's kinda nice. But if Grammy C and Grandpa G are around, she wants to play with them! We enjoy each and every minute with her, she is a pure delight! Rod and I are taking her to get her 6 month pictures taken this weekend! Maizy has attended many basketball games lately and is a big Eagles fan ( that is the Faith Christian Academy Eagles). I hope all of you will be able to meet her this year, she is phenomenal!!!!!! We love you all!

Happy Birthday to Grandpa and Grandma Ginn and Uncle Jason! We love you!

This is our amazing daughter at her Infant Swimming Resource class! This is a program that teaches infants to survive in the water if they were ever to fall in! It is an outstanding program. Maizy's teacher has been blown away with Maizy's progress. She told me that in all of her years in this program she has never had an infant pick up on technique as quickly as Maizy. Maizy was floating on her own in on the second say of class! She goes every day for 5 weeks! We are so proud of our sweet girl!

Maizy and Grammy at the pool waiting for Miss Maizy's swim lessons to begin!

Top Pic: The beautiful look of wonderment!
Middle Pic: Maizy's favorite thing to do? Bite things, and I think it is adorable!

How could anyone ever so "no" to this smile!

Top 2 Pics: Maizy with her new hair do! That's right folks, 6 months old and had enough hair for a pony tail, doesn't she look adorable.
Bottom Pic: She is sitting up on her own, its fun, but sad. I wish she was still 5 pounds!
