Well - our little girl is turning 2 in 3 weeks and my boy is 3 weeks old! I took Nathan in for a weight check and he now weighs 8 lbs 13 oz. He is growing so fast, it's crazy. Nathan is such a little cuddle bug and a great baby, we feel so blessed! We were able to take Nathan to his first baseball game last night, it was a lot of fun! We had amazing clubhouse seats, which was way cool! Grammy and Papa joined us at our boy's first professional sporting event, I am sure there will be many more!
Maizy is getting big way too fast. Mommy tells her every day to stop growing, yet Maizy looks right at me and says. "no mommy, I getting bigger!". Our daughter is what we call spicy, full of spunk! I can tell you that Rod and I find ourselves in amazement over the things she does. Her ability to problem solve in situations and with her words is absolutely wonderful! God has really given her a great mind! Mommy and Maizy have been swimming together almost every day and Maizy is a great swimmer, she is a fish in the water. She jumps off the side of the pool, swims under water, holds onto the side of the pool by herself - its insane all the things she does, our child has no fear! Maizy is also an incredible big sister and a big help to mama. She helps change diapers and she will rock Nathanael in his craddle. I am excited to watch their relationship develop and grow over the years!
We have many great things coming up in the next few weeks. Maizy is turning two and we a throwing her a Dora birthday party. The following Sunday we will be dedicating our little guy to the Lord. Maizy, Nathanael and Mommy are leaving on vacation on July 25th and daddy will be joining us on August 1. It is so exciting to anticipate a family vacation. We really need this time together and regroup after the last few months!
This summer is full of fun and new things! We will keep you updated on all that is happening!
