This wrapping paper on this gift is very special - my mom use to wrap my gifts when I washer age and my mom saved a little bit of it for a day that she would have grand babies! The wrapping paper has a nativity scene on it and on Maizy's package was a beautiful glass nativity ornament for Maizy to have for her tree!

Nathanael Thomas is 4 months old, Can you believe it?!!!! Time has flown by and I find myself saying that statement over and over again! He went to his well baby check up and he is 16 lbs!!!!! His Doctor says that he is doing great and growing at an amazing rate! Nathan is a VERY GOOD BABY, he is so content. He has the most beautiful smile and he smiles ALL THE TIME. Having a little boy is so different than having a baby girl! G-d has shown me things about Himself ,through the birth of my son, that has transformed my (mommy's) heart. Nathan has a gentle and still spirit - the heart of a man who, I know, one day will be a world changer and a banner carrier or Israel! G-d has become much more alive to me through my children, it's amazing how HE works! Nathan is very social and strong. He loves to laugh and play games with those around him!

Maizy Ruth is getting smarter by the day - what a blessing she is to us!!!!!! She is soo funny and animated that sometimes we are tempted to make an actress out of her. Maizy loves being a big sister, but she wants everyone to remember that she is the BIG sister ( : Her vocabulary would blow you away and she is amazing when it comes to word problem solving! Her laughter lightens a room up and her growing knowledge of Jesus is heart melting! I am looking forward to the holidays as she will discover the joy of celebrating! Maizy and daddy have a very sweet relationship and mommy is so proud to see that come alive! She just finished her third round of swimming - and she is a true pro!!!! There is a part of me that is very sad that she is growing up so fast, but a bigger part of me that is looking forward to the amazing things G-d has for her!

Friends and Family!
Can you believe it is already September and fall is literally a few weeks away! WOW time is flying on by! As for the Ginn family we are definitely in the fall season with all of the things we are involved in, busy, busy, busy!!! The kids are amazing, as usual! Nathanael is growing bigger and bigger by the day, its quite the joke around here! It is had to believe he is already 12 weeks old! Nathan is recognising voices, following people with his head, holding his little head up, talking all the time (he is more Vocal than Maizy ever was), he smiles, laughs out loud and is sleeping through the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Praise God, says mommy). We are so blessed by his sweet spirit and funny personality!
Maizy Ruth is a peanut (as mommy would say), she is getting smarter by the day - 2 going on 12. She loves to do art projects, cooking with mommy, hangin' with daddy no matter what he is doing, help change Nathan's diapers and she LOVES to dance! We are starting dance classes the first week of October. We have grammy to thank for the joy of dance - she has danced with her since the day she was born! Maizy starts music classes again in the next week - which will be so much fun!
Life is full of blessing, and we are grateful for all God is doing and has done for us! We love you all and will continue to keep you updated on the babies!

Ocean City 2008
We just got back from our annual vacation to Ocean City, and as usual we had a fabulous time! It is such a blessing to be able to go to Grammy and Papa's beach house and make amazing memories! Mommy, Maizy and Nathanael went out a week before daddy could join us, and that time was great for Papa and Maizy. The two of them were like two peas in a pod and really loved their time together at the beach playing, making sand castles, sittin' in their chairs watching the water, taking walks, finding sea shells, chasing sea gulls, and all sorts of fun times! This gave mommy a chance to sit back and watch her little ones just enjoy themselves. Of course Grammy was in heaven because she often had Nathanael and Maizy to herself, without the baby hog (papa) around. Maizy and Grammy would have dance parties, and she would hang out with Nathan in the quiet of the day, and allow mama to get rest, massages, shop or hang out with Maizy on the beach. Mommy loved just being able to see her babies play and have fun - it brought rest and joy to my heart!
Daddy joined us a week later and we had such a great time as a family. Daddy was able to take Maizy out and have daddy/daughter time - which they both loved! They spent time at Sand Castle Park, went to the beach, went on some walks, ate ice cream together at our favorite Ice Cream Parlor, and just has some good ole' fashion fun! He had hours of time to just hang with Nate - which was much needed for the both of them. Mommy enjoyed time with each of her babies alone, doing things that sometimes at home, there is not much time for. Maizy and mama colored and watched princess movies together. We were able to do just mommy/Maizy things and I know we both cherished that time. Together as a family we hung out on the boardwalk, watched movies, ate great meals together, sat on the porch and listened to the ocean, laughed, talked about the wonders of life and just enjoyed each other. I am blessed that God brought me a man who understands how important this little place called Ocean City is to me. And now it's in Rod's blood - he loves it and looks forward to our summers to come. After a year of great challenge we are refreshed (to a point, haha), and looking forward to what the rest of this year may bring. I hope you enjoy the pics of our little family vacation and that you are as blessed as we are by are beautiful babies!

Well - Maizy's birthday has come and gone, and I (mama) am a little sad that she is two, but soooo proud of the little lady she is turning into! She had her check up this week and everything is great! Nathanael is growing like a weed, 11 lbs - can you believe it! He is precious, such a lover boy! Having two children is amazing, and a bit challenging, in a good way! Our babies are so much fun and we have such a good time as a family! We are gearing up for our annual vacation to Ocean City with grammy and papa! Maizy is beside herself with excitement. She talks about the beach, sea shells and sand every day! Our family needs this trip and we are ecstatic. We will keep you updated on all of the fun we will have on vacation!

Can you believe it Nathanael is 5 weeks old. Time flies when you are sleep deprived, but very blessed! Nathanael was 7 lbs when we left the hospital 4 weeks ago, and now he is 10 lbs 2 oz - big boy! He is doing great and growing big. Nathan is starting to hold his head up for short periods of time and he is also cooing a bunch! He has a beautiful smile, and gorgeous eyes. Rod says to me, he is only a few weeks old and already a mama's boy. He melts into your arms and snuggles into your chest - I love it! Those characteristics make it worth getting up at night!Recently I was reading the story of Samuel and Hannah - and she makes a statement in the Old testament that states, "For this child, I prayed." It's breath taking to look at our babies and know that both of them our amazing miracles of our AMAZING GOD who hears our cries and answers our prayers! We dedicated Nathanael on July 13 and as we stood there both Rod and I said, "We are privileged that God gave him to us to take care of for such a time as this." God is good and we are thankful for His blessings!

Can you believe we are just days ways from Miss Maizy's second birthday. I swear I blinked and here we are. We had a great party for her with all her friends and family, including Grandma and Grandpa Ginn and Uncle Jason (whom she adores). Everyone enjoyed swimming, Mexican food that Auntie Mindy made and just havin' fun together. Of course, Grammy Cheryl made the day perfect with her amazing decorations and thoughtful ideas. She is never too tired or busy to make things special. It was a very surreal day for me (mommy)- I almost felt like I was having an out of body experience. I should explain, my baby girl who was just a new born is an amazingly, beautiful, perfect little two year old. She can say her ABC's, count, sing, dress herself, put her shoes on, say perfect sentences, make silly comments, figure out a situation much quicker than most adults, throw temper tantrums with the best of them and the list goes on and on. Her daddy and I are blessed beyond measure that God entrusted her to us, WOW, we serve a great God. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
